Greeneville, Tenn. – Jerome Julian has joined Apex Bank as Greene County President. Julian brings 30 years of banking knowledge and experience in the management, wealth, retail, and lending areas. Throughout his career, Julian has served the Bristol, Kingsport, Johnson City, Morristown, and Knoxville markets.

Julian began his banking career as an accountant at SunTrust Bank and quickly moved into leadership roles. Julian served as President of TriSummit Bank in Bristol, Tennessee and Virginia, as well as President of the Tennessee Lakeway Area of Morristown. He most recently served as Vice President of United Management Company, a McGlothlin company, in Bristol, VA and as President and CEO of the United Way of Washington County, Tennessee.
In addition to his successful career, Julian is a strong advocate for community outreach and investment. He has volunteered in numerous Chambers of Commerce, youth leadership programs, and small business and entrepreneurial organization boards. He has also led many fundraising efforts for organizations such as the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer’s Foundation, and the Boys and Girls Club, among other philanthropic organizations.

Julian is a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the Consumer Banking Association Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at the University of Virginia.
